THS Welcomes New Students in Style

The THS School Counseling Department hosted a new student orientation "meet and greet" for all new/transfer students on September 22, 2021, during Advisory. THS has over 60 new students this year from different towns, cities, states, and countries!

The School Counseling team, along with our translator, Ms. Ocasio put together a group meeting with food, games, and get-to-know-you activities including Bingo and Ms. Odlum’s fun, new activity, "Screaming Toes!"

Some students left with pretty neat Raider swag such as t-shirts, lanyards, and sunglasses for answering trivia questions correctly.

We hope to make our new student orientation an annual tradition here at Torrington High School.
