Raiders Support Breast Cancer Awareness

On Friday, October 8th, the stands at the THS football field were packed head to toe with the color pink. Students went all out at the annual Pink Out football game that supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month, wearing pink sweatshirts, hats, sunglasses, and even tutus.

The decked-out Raiders spent the entire day raising awareness for breast cancer, participating in the Pink Out school spirit day. The THS cheerleaders, band, and JROTC did a special performance at the game, each sporting their own pink attire.

The enthusiasm of the students was reflected in the team’s performance; the night ended with a huge win over Derby, the final score being 33-0. This improves the Raiders’ record to 3-2.
